| Writer Directory | Fearrington, North Carolina
is a community located approximately half way between Chapel Hill
and Pittsboro. Fearrington is home to many writers.
Fearrington Writers Group is a loosely organized association open to any Fearrington resident interested in writing. The aims of the organization are: to discuss the art and business of writing; to aid one another in composition and publishing; and generally share useful information. So far the members of the association have shown interests in family history, military history, personal memoirs, self-help books, text books, cook books, and fiction (especially detective fiction). There is no limit to subject matter or genre. The group meets about four times a year, with a formal presentation and a long period devoted to discussion. We anticipate that some members will be interested in meeting more regularly to workshop their materials and get feedback from fellow members.
