I am a writer, speaker and
professional
coach, who has learned a lot about growing productive
careers and decisive organizations.
I have held
leadership positions in some of the world's most important
biomedical organizations including, the Population Council, Pfizer
and Johnson & Johnson. Most
recently I was President of Ipas, an international women's health
organization.
A
perpetual student, I attended numerous management courses
after completing graduate school and a post-doctoral
fellowship. Later, I
participated in the Center For Creative Leadership “Leadership at
the Peak” program. An
active member of Toastmasters International, I have earned the
Distinguished Toastmaster Award. I am a member of the
National Speakers Association.
 I
have authored more than 140 books, book chapters, papers, and
webarticles. My most recent book is The Simple-Minded
Manager: Cutting Through Your Work-Life Choas.
